Unlimited Biking is the best bike rental, tour and city experience company operating in New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, Santa Monica, San Diego and Miami. Our goal is to provide our customers with the ability to create meaningful and memorable experiences as they explore cities by bike. We also provide Micromobility as an amenity to hotels, corporate campuses and residential communities.

Who You Are

We are looking for a self-motivated and customer service oriented Store Manager to oversee the daily operation at our store. Store managers will help with the flow of customers throughout the check in process and ensure that our employees are providing an exceptional customer service experience. This person will also provide assistance to customers who have any questions/concerns or needing additional assistance. Maintaining a high level of customer service & having resourceful and quick thinking and problem solving skills is crucial in this role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supervise and assist employees for the front counter and with the bike fleet.
  • Develop, train and mentor staff to build and sustain a high performing team.
  • Monitor the schedule daily to ensure we have proper staffing levels throughout the day
  • Manage employees' performances by providing feedback, counseling, coaching and discipline.
  • Ensure stores remain clean, presentable at all times and proper store maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Initiate, implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stores have all the necessary supplies to run effectively.
  • Manage all controllable expenses with a view of maintaining profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
  • Comply with Safety, health and sanitation best practices and regulations.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our tours we offer and the bikes we have available.
  • Investigate and effectively address customer complaints and concerns.
  • Bringing in new revenue and increasing store sales

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent or a Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Working Experience in a retail setting
  • Managerial or supervisory experience
  • Working in a fast pace environment
  • Experience working with bikes would be a plus
  • Experience working in a hospitality operation would be preferred
