Unlimited Biking is the best bike rental, tour and city experience company operating in New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, Santa Monica, San Diego and Miami. Our goal is to provide our customers with the ability to create meaningful and memorable experiences as they explore cities by bike. We also provide Micromobility as an amenity to hotels, corporate campuses and residential communities. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the efficient operation of our warehouse. This role will require heavy lifting and a flexible schedule, including weekends. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload shipments from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy and any visible damage, and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders for shipment, ensuring that products are handled with care and packaged securely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by properly labeling, organizing, and storing products in designated locations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to company safety standards and guidelines.
- Assemble and disassemble bikes and related equipment as needed.
- Assist with any special projects or tasks assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet warehouse goals and objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
