Seeking natural storytellers who enjoy working with the general public and leading groups. We provide the training, you add a personal touch to create a fun, entertaining experience. Tours are on bicycles (4-7 miles at an easy pace, bike provided & training provided).
Our tour guides safely lead small groups for up to 3 hours at a time on and around the National Mall in Washington, DC. We work outdoors!
We offer tours year-round, with our busiest times being March-October. Scheduling is flexible. We are currently hiring for our 2024 season (March-October). Part-time applicants can expect to work 10-20 hours a week, depending on preference and availability. We offer tours every day, morning, afternoon, and evening. This is a part-time job that can fit easily into a variety of schedules.
Applicants should be at least 18 years of age. You do not need to have previous tour guide experience, but public speaking experience is required.
Rate: $25 per tour hour PLUS TIPS!
Please make sure to note your availability and desired start date on your application. Desired start date is February 14ths but earlier and later times are possible.
