Miami Beach Store Manager

Full-Time in Miami Beach, FL - Operations - $25.00 / hr

We are looking for a self-motivated and highly organized Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Miami Beach Store. The Store Manager will assist the Head of Operations with the supervision, training, front of store customer check in and with bike fleet inventory and maintenance. The Store Manager will be responsible for creating the weekly schedules for each store to ensure we have proper staffing levels every day. The Store Manager will also oversee the customer experience for our rentals and bike tours, along with assisting with special events throughout the year. They will work closely with the event staff to ensure all special events are executed flawlessly by ensuring that they are sufficiently staffed, on time and the proper number of bikes and bike parts are available The SM will also ensure that our employees are providing an exceptional customer service experience and they will play a major role in analyzing and improving organizational processes focused on improving the overall productivity of the organization.

The Store Manager will create and monitor operational and financial KPI’s for each store and will work closely with the Head of Operations on a daily basis on forecasting business demands.

Store Manager duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure the proper development, training and mentoring of employees.
  • Manage employees' performances by providing feedback, counseling, coaching and discipline.
  • Manage a fleet of bicycles for routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Initiate, implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels, ensure the store has all the necessary supplies to run effectively.
  • Manage all controllable expenses with a view of maintaining profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
  • Comply with Safety, health and sanitation best practices and regulations.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our tours we offer and the bikes we have available.
  • Investigate and effectively address customer complaints, refund requests and concerns.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Work Experience in a retail setting
  • Managerial or supervisory experience in a multi-location operation
  • Experience working with bikes is a plus
  • Experience working in a hospitality/tourism/customer service organization strongly preferred
